Unlocking Longevity with Polynucleotide Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation

What are the benefits of Polynucleotides?

This is a regenerative treatment used to treat:

  • Dark under-eye circles

  • Fine lines

  • Skin laxity

  • Poor tone and texture

  • Acne scarring

Unlike dermal fillers, polynucleotides do not fill or pad out the skin but promote cellular growth and play a crucial role in cell repair and regeneration. Polynucleotides have been used successfully in medicine for burns and wound healing since the 1970s.  By introducing polynucleotides into the skin, we can promote cellular repair, enhance skin elasticity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

What are the side effects to polynucleotide treatment?

Polynucleotides have an excellent safety profile. As with any injection, you can expect your skin to look quite swollen and red afterwards, but this calms after a few hours. You may experience pin-prick bleeding and some itchiness, but it is important to avoid touching the treated area for at least 12 hours. Some bruising may also occur and, if the treatment is under the eye, the swelling and bruising may take longer to fully resolve.

What are Polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are long chains of nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA and RNA. These molecules play a crucial role in cell repair and regeneration, which makes them ideal for advanced skincare treatments.

Polynucleotide treatments work by stimulating the skin's natural healing processes.

Boost Collagen Production

Polynucleotides enhance the synthesis of collagen, a protein essential for maintaining skin structure and elasticity.

Improve Hydration

They increase the skin's ability to retain moisture, leading to a more hydrated and plump appearance.

Enhance Cellular Repair

Polynucleotides aid in the repair of damaged DNA, promoting healthier skin cells and reducing signs of ageing.

Reduce Inflammation

These treatments help to soothe inflammation, resulting in calmer, clearer skin.

Polynucleotides are natural, highly purified DNA molecules that are injected into the skin and work by stimulating fibroblast skin cells. This encourages cell turnover, improves elasticity, boosts collagen production and hydrates skin thanks to powerful wound-healing polymers.

Polynucleotides also calm inflammation and re-balance melanocyte (pigment producing cells) activity to create an even and refreshed skin tone. Chronic inflammation is one of the twelve Hallmarks of Aging and overtime causes your skin to age at a cellular level. Injecting polynucleotides into the skin helps your cells act more youthfully, transforming the skin from within.
