Nefertiti Neck Lift
Named after Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, who was known for her smooth and sculptured jaw and neck line. This treatment targets the neck area using botulinum toxin injections into the platysmal bands in order to counteract the effect of aging.
​
The neck area can be particularly tricky to treat effectively as the skin is quite delicate and thin. However, this treatment can deliver a rejuvenating effect without the need for surgery.

The Nefertiti Lift technique consists of a series of small doses of botulinum toxin carefully injected into the platysmal bands, which are a fan of muscles extending from the chest up to the neck and jawline. As we age these muscles will separate creating a “turkey neck”. The injections relax the muscle which, in turn, causes the muscles in the upper part of the face to strengthen, this can result in a more youthful, defined jawline.
Injections into the muscles of the chin to define the anterior and posterior borders of the chin. Lastly the depressor anguli oris muscles are injected to improve the appearance of a “down turned mouth”.

This treatment is not suitable for individuals with skin laxity or excess localised fat in the neck.

Results become visible after 7-14 days and typically last up to 6 months. This treatment can be repeated at 4 monthly intervals.
Shoulder Slimming
Shoulder Slimming or 'Trap-Tox' is becoming a popular treatment, creating a smoother, more slender and elegant shoulder profile. The treatment can also elongate the appearance of the neck. The treatment targets the trapezius muscle which is located in the neck and upper back, to create a more refined shoulder silhouette.

Neurotoxin is injected carefully into specific points of the trapezius muscles. The procedure is relatively quick and painless with the results developing over 3-14 days. Results include the reduction of bulkiness with a sleeker shoulder line, you may experience an enhanced posture and some patients find an improvement in long term neck and shoulder pain.

The results typically last up to 6 months, treatments can be repeated at 3-4 month intervals.
